Mildred C. Kern

Kern, Mildred C., of O'Fallon, MO, died on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 89. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Dora Arnold; devoted mother of Darrell (Janis) Kern, Debby (John) Ketchum, Diane (Kent) Gruenewald, and Stephen (Susan) Kern; cherished grandmother of Rick Padgett, Dan (Ginger) Padgett, Lindsay (Rick) Jewell, Stephanie Kern, Christine (Jared) Cox, Aaron Kern, Luke Kern, and Brooke (Terry) Austin; treasured great-grandmother of 11; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Margaret Booth.
Mildred retired from Southwest Baptist University where she was a dorm mom at Landen Hall for many years. She spent many years of her life caring for others, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
