Michael "Mike" David Maassen

Michael “Mike” David Maassen, of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, July 29^th, 2022, at the young age of 41. Devoted son of Gayle and the late Timothy Maassen; dear brother of Mark (Laurie) Maassen, Heather (Bill) Wichlan, and Matt (Betsy) Maassen; loving uncle of Alex, Josie, Sadie, Charlotte, Raegan and Kate; nephew to many aunts and uncles, cousin to dozens and true friend to all. Mike is also survived by his dog, Samantha.

Mike’s personality and smile were absolutely unforgettable to anyone who met him. He was kind, loving, compassionate and caring and was always willing to step up for his family or friends to lend a helping hand. Mike was extremely hard working both in his professional career and in his personal life and he took pride in everything he did. He prioritized his family and friends and loved them all fiercely. In his spare time, Mike loved to play and watch soccer and tennis and spend time outdoors with family and friends. Mike was one of a kind and will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials may be made in Mike’s name to Evelyn's House or St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
