Michael "Mike" Jawahir

St. Louis, Missouri

Michael “Mike” Jawahir, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, good friend, neighbor, and a retired aviation engineer. Mike is survived by his wife, Linda, his children, Vanessica (Brian), Preston (Amanda), his stepchildren, Bob (Carrie), Steve (Brandi), Kate (Tyler), Dan (Alicia), and grandchildren, Vincent, Reese, Aubree, Emma, Hugh, Maci, Max, Georgia, Lily, and Bailey. 

His parents were Wilson and Veronica Jawahir of Trinidad. Mike had 8 siblings. His dear sister, Germaine, of Florida, passed away in 2020. His 3 surviving sisters are Mary (Tribowan), Margaret, and Celestine also of Trinidad. 

Mike was loved by all for his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. He enjoyed taking on projects and continued to improve his homes in Ferguson, Florida, and farm until shortly before his death. He had a passion for travel and flourished in a long aviation career. He loved his family and was an avid Cardinal fan. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) or Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church in Ferguson.
