Zheleznyak, Meri, (nee: Akkerman) of Chesterfield, MO, died on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Abram Zheleznyak; beloved daughter of the late David and Yelena Akkerman; devoted mother of Marina (Bob) Atchison; and treasured grandmother of Dan (Kris) Sterkin.
Meri enjoyed playing piano, loved music and was an avid reader. She was a good friend and people loved to be around her. Meri was a fashionable individual and enjoyed shopping. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
