Melba H. Abberton

Melba H. Abberton, of Ferguson, Missouri, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the age of 86. Dearest wife of the late Charles P. Abberton; dear daughter of the late Jesse Brown Holland and the late Lydia L. Holland; loving mother of Paul (Ingrid) Abberton, Andrew (Kathy) Abberton, Lois Wolf, Charlotte Abberton, David Abberton, and Melba Smith; treasured grandmother of 11. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Melba was a Special Services Coordintor for the Salvation Army. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in St. Charles and the American Legion, Post 404 in St. Louis.
