Matthew C. Meier

Matthew Clarence Meier, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at the age of 46. Beloved son of Jack and Mary Meier nee Goellner; dear brother of Tom (Michele) Meier, Beth (Wade) Oates, and Joe (Mandy) Meier; cherished uncle of Sam, Nathan, Meghan, Lauren, Kevin, John, and Chloe. 

Matt graduated from Duchesne High School in 1994, where he earned all-conference honors as a varsity football and baseball player. He also participated in a high school musical as Officer Krupke. He graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1998. Matt loved Legos, movies, music, and going to shows at The Fox and The Muny. He was also an avid Cardinals and Blues fan. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews and was known as “Uncle Christmas." Matt was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Matthew's name to Siteman Cancer Center.  

 A service will be held at a later date by the family.
