Emblem

Matthew William Dollard, of Wright City, MO, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Veronica Dollard; cherished son of the late David and Beverly Dollard; devoted father of Lyndsey (Dustin) Ferrell, Melanie (Dakotah) Bartlett, and Matthew (Courtney) Dollard; loving grandfather of Landon Ferrell, Leah Ferrell, Lucas Ferrell, and David Dollard; dear brother of Cathy (Tim) Brown and Tony (Cindy) Dollard

Matt proudly and honorably served as a United States Marine and remained a Marine at heart throughout his life. He was married to the love of his life, Veronica, for 35 wonderful years, and together they were rooted in their unwavering faith. They shared a deep bond, enjoying beach vacations, savoring good food, and cherishing time with their children and grandchildren. In 2021, they founded Breakout Concrete LLC, where they worked side by side—a testament to their shared dedication and love. Matt was a hardworking man who took great joy in being a cement mason for 25 years and in building a life centered around family, faith, and generosity. He was known for his big personality, sharp mind, and great sense of humor. He was a strong-willed, fair, and loving man who never missed a detail—especially when it came to giving gifts or words of affirmation. Even though he had a tough exterior, he had a heart of gold and fought courageously to the very end. Despite the bad break, Matt considered himself abundantly blessed. Matt was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
