Mary Sue Hunt
November 10, 1938 — April 2, 2022
Mary Sue Hunt (nee Talley), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the age of 83. Loving wife of James Arthur Hunt; beloved daughter of the late Albert and Anna Talley; devoted mother of James Alan (Elizabeth Corrales) Hunt, Susan C. Hunt, and Christina M. (Doug) Albert; cherished grandmother of Tanya (Dan) Saltzman, Mary Lena Garcia, Zulema Alexandria Corrales, Hope (Tim) Koberman, Zachary Seeck, Niki Seeck, Christopher Moran, Adam Dill, Madeline Albert, Tina Albert, and Natalie Albert; treasured great grandmother to many; dear sister of the late Richard H. Talley.
Mary was the best mom, and she loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, and she always made the perfect meal. She learned to sew at an early age and she was an amazing seamstress. She liked to go fishing with her husband at their lake house, and just really enjoyed a peaceful life. At the end of the day, Mary liked to curl up with a good book, and she always had one handy.
As a woman of faith, Mary was very active in church and always looked forward to volunteering within the community. She was crazy about her flower beds, and she planted many variations of flowers, but roses were her favorite. Mary was a role model for her daughters and granddaughters, in teaching them how to be a lady and an all-around better person.
Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Trinity Episcopal Church.
