Mary Ellen Reedy

Mary Ellen Reedy, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Irene Reedy; dear sister of Carol Lupo, Eileen Majino, the late Tom Reedy, and the late Kathy Reedy; loving aunt of Jennifer Rubin, Steve Lupo, Matt Lupo, Lindsay (Sony) Hing, Tom Reedy, Julie Reedy, Molly Reedy, Sarah Reedy, and A.J. Majino; treasured great and great-great aunt to many.

Mary was a loving and devoted nurse whose compassionate legacy will live on through all the lives she touched as well as in the lives of all her friends and family. She worked at DePaul Hospital, where she made a difference for over 50 years and served as a respected mentor. She was a steadfast presence and pillar of the hospital community. Mary lived life on her own terms. She had a remarkable sense of humor and a rare ability to balance accountability with empathy. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
