Mary Jo Mennemeier

Mary Jo Mennemeier (nee Koch), of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Albert E. Mennemeier; cherished daughter of the late Bernice and Edwin Koch; devoted mother of Colleen (Jeff) Grillo, Douglas (Bonnie) Mennemeier, Jeffrey (Susan) Mennemeier, and Sheila (Ron) Graham; loving grandmother of Abby, Tyler, Gavin, Ryan, Rachel, Bailey, Brody, Zachary, Emily, and Shelby; precious great grandmother of Kaiya, Carson, Dominic, Liam, Cade, Natalie, Wyatt, Tema, Sophie, Thea, Max, and John Sawyer; dear sister of John Koch. Mary is also preceded in death by her siblings Larry Koch, Eugene Koch, Edwin Koch Jr, Donald Koch, Lucille Burkemper, Jane Parr, and Richard Koch. 

Mary Jo found great joy in her card club gatherings, savoring the moments with a refreshing Pepsi, her favorite beverage. She held a deep affection for the color purple and passionately supported the Cardinals. Mary Jo's warmth and love endeared her to those who knew her, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her company.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary Jo's name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
