Mary Megan Peters

January 2, 1961 — June 1, 2024

Saint Charles, Missouri

Mary Megan “Meg” Peters of St. Charles, MO, passed away Saturday June 1, 2024.  Most importantly, she leaves behind her true loves, her cats: George, Fred, and Ralphie.   She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Roland Peters, her granddaughter, Iris Jackson Peters, her older brother, Jay Crump, her partner of 21 years, David McDonald, and her parents, Rita, and Gerald Crump.

She was a dedicated, self-described “Mother Hubbard” to her daughter, Lillian (Andy) Peters.  Megan’s two beautiful granddaughters, Olive, and Tulip will miss their fun loving “MeyMey”.  Also leaving behind her sister, Maura Crump, and brother, Bryan Crump (Debbie).  She loved her family, almost as much as her cats.

Megan was a retired custodian of Parkway School District, where she brought joy to many students and faculty. She was an avid gardener, Cardinals fan, talented cook, and of course she was an angel to animals. Working relentlessly with local organizations to rescue and care for feral cats.

Her favorite things in life were simple: a good Bloody Mary, a pool, and some rock n roll.

Memorials may be made in Mary Megan’s name to Contributions directed 7morecats.
