Mary Lou Hannegan

Mary Lou Hannegan, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late John C. Hannegan; dear daughter of Eloise and the late Charles Tlapek; devoted mother of Kathleen Hannegan, J. Michael (Kim White) Hannegan, David C. Hannegan, and Thomas P. Hannegan; cherished grandmother of Brian, Nathaniel, Alison, and Erin Hannegan McKee, and Kyle, Tyler and Ashley Hannegan; dear sister of Bill (Elaine) Tlapek, Zane Tlapek and the late John "Jack" Tlapek.
Mary was an English Teacher for more than 20 years, educating students at Bishop DuBourg, St. Cletus, and Duchesne High School. She also devoted her time to the Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles. She loved traveling with her grandchildren, walking her beloved dog Gypsy, and riding her horse, Magic. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles.
Services: The family is being served by The Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 610 North Fourth Street, St. Charles, MO.
