Mary K. Klosterhoff

Mary Kay Klosterhoff of Fredericktown, MO passed away on June 28, 2025 fortified by the Sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church.

Mary was born on February 5, 1961 to parents George & Rita Klosterhoff of St. Ann, MO. Predeceased by father George Klosterhoff, brother Jim Klosterhoff and sister-in-law Patsy Klosterhoff Survived by soulmate and love of her life Steve Wanstreet, his son/daughter-in-law Will (Stephanie) Wanstreet and their daughter Annie whom Mary adored. Loving Mother, Rita Klosterhoff. Dear sister of Larry Klosterhoff, Karen (Tony) Lewandowski, Steven Klosterhoff, Nancy (Kevin) Snow, Mike (Stephanie) Klosterhoff.

Mary was a dear sister-in law, aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and friend.

Mary cherished nothing more than being "Grandma Mary". That was a role she considered her greatest joy and most beloved hobby. She was intelligent, organized, and a true perfectionist who always knew exactly what she wanted. A devoted homemaker and a generous soul, Mary lived a quiet, simple life rooted in love and kindness, always ready to help anyone in need. Family meant everything to her. She found joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and camping on the cruiser with the love of her life, Steve. Every day, she took time to sit on the front porch with a good book, embracing her love for reading and the peaceful country life. Strong-willed and full of zest, Mary faced life’s challenges head-on. Whether battling cancer or navigating life’s everyday hurdles, she never quit. She was gutsy, resilient, and deeply loved.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held for close family & friends at Baue Funeral Home Cave Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to a charity of your choice in Mary's memory.
