Mary Kate Atchison

Mary Kate Atchison (nee Murphy), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Thomas Atchison; cherished daughter of the late Virginia and William Murphy; devoted mother of Tommy (Sarah Woodard) Atchison and the late Michelle Atchison; dear sister of William Murphy, the late Louis (Ruth) Murphy, and the late Timothy Murphy; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary was married to the love of her life, Tom, for 44 wonderful years, and together they enjoyed camping and sharing fun, meaningful moments. A devoted wife and loving family woman, Mary had a caring heart and was always looking out for those around her. She enjoyed reading and quilting, and her easygoing nature, combined with a sweet yet sassy spirit, made her a joy to be around. Mary had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially her beloved grand dog, Dave. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
