Mary Leu Kaletta

Mary Leu Kaletta (nee Brueggeman), of St. Charles, MO, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the age of 84 after a 5 ½ year struggle with Dementia. Beloved wife of Gary Ray Kaletta; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Inez Brueggeman; devoted mother of Keith Douglas (Rebecca Irene Marks) Kaletta; loving grandmother of Nathan Douglas Kaletta; dear sister-in-law of Lynne Marie Palme (nee Kaletta); treasured aunt of Lisa Marie (the late Gary) Davey (nee Palme); cousin and friend to many.

She had a deep appreciation for the arts, often attending performances at The Muny and finding joy in tap dancing. She also shared a love of travel with her husband, creating many cherished memories on trips and vacations together—especially their frequent visits to Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, a place that held a special spot in her heart.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of culture and adventure, and the many meaningful connections she made throughout her life.

Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
