Mary Josephine Edwards (nee: Martin) of Saint Charles, MO, died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Wilson Woodrow Edwards; cherished daughter of the late William and Josephine Martin; devoted mother of Joseph Lee (Linda) Martin, Kathleen Barrett, and the late Mary Regina Fortune; loving grandmother of William Fortune, Lisa Pack, Curtis Fortune, McCoy McKee, Kevin McKee, Robin McKee, Joseph Martin II, and Jeffrey Martin; treasured great-grandmother of 13; and dear great-great-grandmother of 5. She was also preceded in death by her 13 brothers and sisters.

Mary was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church since 1943. She was a devout Catholic who prayed the Rosary three times a day. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
