Mary Jo Collins

May 2, 1939 — October 1, 2021

Mary Jo Collins, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the age of 82.  Loving wife of the late James Collins; beloved daughter of the late William and Marie Rumpf; devoted mother of Michael (Milissa) Collins, Ann Marie (Keith) Kovacik, Julie (Tom) Cullinane, and Chip Collins; cherished grandmother of JR (Anna) Collins, Dan (Angie) Collins, Kyle Collins, Carley (Adam) Nelson, Kendall (James) Curry, Casey Campo, McKenna Campo, Bailey Collins, and Jordan Seaman; treasured great-grandmother of Jocelyn Cuzick, Cam Collins, and Judah Singer; great-great-grandmother of Colson Cuzick and Abel Cuzick; dear sister of Mary Ann (the late Bill) King.

Mary Jo lived a great life!  She was very funny, had a great sense of humor, and just brought the light of the party to the room. She was very non-judgmental. and would give you the shirt off her back, literally. Mary Jo liked fashion, wearing jewelry and fun clothes. She was also very kind, classy, and sassy.

The big thing in Mary Jo’s life was playing golf, and she enjoyed playing at Norwood Hills Country Club.  She also liked to play tennis and going to Stayin’ Alive Workout Fitness. Mary Jo loved fried chicken and going to Hobo's. She loved going out to dinner, to 4:30 happy hour every day, and spending time with her friend Neal.

Mary Jo loved living near the water, and she loved her condo/home in Florida where she lived for about 10 years.  In her younger years, she had a house at Lake of the Ozarks and always looked forward to spending time with her family there every weekend.

In Mary Jo’s words, “Thank you for a great life, and Cheers to everyone!”  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
