Mary Jane Ziegemeier

Mary Jane Ziegemeier (nee Nemec), age 84, of Galena, Missouri, July 22, 2017. Beloved wife of the late James V. Ziegemeier; cherished daughter of the late Joseph George and Josephine Nemec; devoted mother of Anne Ziegemeier, Susan (Paul) Loftin, Tom (Sherri) Ziegemeier, and Barbara (Tom) Edelman; loving grandmother of 9; treasured great-grandmother of 3; and dear sister of Geraldine Nemec. She was also a beloved aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Lynn Ziegemeier, and her siblings, George Lawrence Nemec, Joseph George Nemec, Helen Georgia Nemec, and Lillian Patricia Hallemeier.

Mary was a lifelong, devout Catholic. She was also a diehard St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
