Mary B. Guthrie

Mary Bernice Guthrie (nee Schoeneck), of O Fallon, MO, passed away peacefully Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Levi Milton Guthrie; cherished daughter of the late Calvin (Cab) and Mildred Schoeneck; devoted mother of the late Calvin Michael (the late Diane) Guthrie; loving grandmother of Cassandra Nicole (Brennan) Cox and Christopher (Lisa Rachel) Guthrie; great-grandmother of Finley Guthrie, Harper Guthrie and Ryan Rachel.

Mary had a true passion for the work she did at countless estate sales. She enjoyed discovering treasures (and taking them home), meeting the people, and sharing the histories of the pieces. A regular at the beauty shop, Mary loved getting her hair done and gossiping with the ladies. She appreciated looking her best and being in good company.

Mary was dearly loved and cherished by her friends and family. Her irreplaceable spirit and warm presence will be profoundly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
