Mary Frances Leverenz
March 20, 1930 — February 7, 2022
Mary Frances Leverenz (nee Arnold), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of first husband, the late Donald John Vail and second husband, the late Theodore H. Leverenz, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Jacob and Frances Arnold. Devoted mother of Ronald (Janice) Vail and David Vail; loving grandmother of Jeremy Vail and the late Josh Vail; treasured great-grandmother of Ethan and Andrew Vail; great-great-grandmother of Mila Vail; and dear sister of Genevieve Holt.
Mary was a woman of devout faith. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for many years and went on to St. Peters Catholic Church, and most recently, St. Cletus Catholic Church. Mary loved traveling and embroidery. She would often donate her embroidered squares to the quilting group at church. Mary was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and had great knowledge of the team and players. She found great joy being able to go to spring training. More than anything, she loved to spend time with family, especially with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to St. Cletus Catholic Church.
