BENES, Mary E., O'Fallon, MO, July 4, 2006 age 85; dearest wife of the late Gordian Benes, daughter of the late Robert L. and Justine Spelbrink; devoted mother of Toni Benes, David Benes and Donna (Jim) Bueneman; beloved grandmother of Melissa and Brad Benes; preceded in death by brothers Robert, Paul & Jack Spelbrink. Mary was a past Vice President and President of the Women's Chapter of the St. Louis Variety Club. She was a volunteer teacher for special needs children for 25 years.
