Schopp, Mary D., 83, passed from this life on November 17, 2010. Dear wife of the late James M. Schopp. Mother of the late Michael Achter; step-mother of Judy (William) Walker and Jerry (Barbara) Schopp, the late Tommy Schopp; grandmother of Lisa (Mark Brakeman) Schmich, Michael (Julie) Volz, Michael and Kathryn Schopp; great-grandmother of Brandon Schmich, Brianna Schmich, Chase Volz, Brittany Volz; sister of Barbara (Gene) Stark and the late Arthur (Shirley) Karniski and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Mary was born on April 9, 1927 to Clara and Anthony Karniski. She was a longtime employee of General Motors and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
