Mary Ann Collier

Mary Ann Collier (nee Murphy), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Loving wife of Donald J. Collier; beloved daughter of the late James and Martha Murphy; devoted mother of Susan (Bruno) Stopka, and James Collier; cherished grandmother of Valerie (Eric) Johnson, Daniel (Kaitlin) Stopka, and Austin Collier; treasured great-grandmother of Jayden, Taylor, Jack, Kaydynn, and Baker. Preceded in death by her grandchild, Rachael Collier.

Mary was married for 68 years to her loving husband, Donald—a partnership rooted in deep devotion and enduring love. She was a proud St. Louis Cardinals fan and found great joy in cooking for the people she loved. Mary enjoyed traveling and discovering new places, embracing each adventure with enthusiasm.

She remained close with her high school friends throughout her life, and their monthly gatherings were a cherished tradition. Mary was also actively involved in her neighborhood, always willing to lend a hand or share a warm smile.

Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She shared a very special bond with her grandchildren, making each one feel uniquely loved. Mary provided encouragement, ambition, and unwavering support to her family, serving as a steady source of strength and inspiration.

Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
