Mary Ann Meier

Mary Ann Meier, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late August "Bud" Meier; dear daughter of the late Erwin and Ida Burroughs; devoted mother of Steven (Cheryl) Meier, Sherrie (Doug) Mayberry, and the late Scott Meier; cherished grandmother of Bart Meier, Chad Meier, Brad Bunten, Kaitlin Mayberry, and Michael Mayberry; and treasured great-grandmother of Preston Meier. Loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings Erwin Burroughs, Doris Niggemann, and Arlene Bequette.

Mary Ann worked for the Grace Chapel Lutheran School as a cook for many years before she retired. She was also a member of the Lydia Circle Ladies Organization at Grace Chapel Lutheran, and enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and Poker. Her greatest passion in life was her family; she was deeply loved and will be missed.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mary Ann to the American Diabetes Association.
