Marvin J. Birkemeier

Marvin J. Birkemeier, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Nancy J. Birkemeier (nee: Kennedy); cherished son of the late Joseph and Margaret Birkemeier; devoted father of Susan Sales (Steven Huebner), Tom (Gina) Birkemeier, Terry (Penny) Birkemeier, Jeff (Cindy) Birkemeier and Lisa (Mike) Nogrady; loving grandfather of  Tamara (Brian) Watts, Sam Birkemeier, Ariel (Matt Olejownik) Schlef, Alex (Autumn Barton) Birkemeier, Ben (Vionne) Birkemeier, Alexander (Morgan Weigelt) LeGrand, Tony (Cindy) Birkemeier, Amanda (Julia Grumand) Birkemeier, Sara (Andrew) Tate, Nick (Alex) Birkemeier, Jessica (Tyler) Schwalbert, and Joseph (Emily) Nogrady, treasured great-grandfather of many; dear brother of the late Elmer (Loraine) Birkemeier, the late Irvin (first wife Joyce and 2nd wife Martha) Birkemeier, the late Herbert (LaVerne) Birkemeier, the late Mildred (Albert) Hass and the late Joan (Donald) Grassmuck; brother-in-law of the late Pat (Al) Cooper, Jane (the late Robert) Kohnen, Kathryn (the late Ron) Krueger and Mary Ann (the late Steve) Kennedy; Marvin was a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.  

Marvin proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church for many years. Marvin was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating at the Lake of the Ozarks. Marvin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, Masses at Assumption Catholic Church O'Fallon, Mo., or the Alzheimer’s Association.
