Martha Mensendiek

Martha Alice Weekes Mensendiek was born July 25, 1924 in McCoupin County, Illinois and was one of eight children. Lafayette Weekes and Bertha Straub were her parents. She was married to Charles August Mensendiek on October 17, 1942 at the Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Surviving Martha Mensendiek are three children Mark (Suzanne) Mensendiek, Hope (George) Hayden, and Elaine (Darryl) Pursely. Grandchildren are Brent (Linda) Phipps, Meredith Mensendiek, Meg (Kevin) Hesemann, Tori Hayden, and one grandchild Charles Brandon Phipps, living in heaven today. There are four great-grandchildren Max Phipps, Gus Phipps, Adeline Hesemann, and Grant Hesemann. Martha is also survived by sister Thelma Randolph, brother-in-law Kenneth Mensendiek, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
