Martha "Marti" Ann Crandall

d. February 27, 2026

Martha Ann “Marti” Crandall passed peacefully on February 27, 2026, surrounded by love.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted sons, Douglas (Jane) and Kevin (Drew); her cherished sisters, Joyce (Pat) and Gail (Carl); and sisters-in-law Lorraine (Gary), Gloria (late Don), Sadie (Roger), Dorothy (late Terry), Peanut (Frank), and Donna (Gene).

She was the proud and loving grandmother of Steven (Natalie), Julia (Aaron), Justin (Jessica), Taylor, Elizabeth (Adam), Mallory (Bill), Adam (Graham), and Eric, and the treasured great-grandmother of Samuel, Jonathan, William, Hayden, Carson, Camden, and Isabella.

Marti also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed by her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

While our hearts ache with her absence, we are comforted knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Harold, along with the many family members and friends who preceded her.

Marti was truly an exceptional soul. Her capacity for love knew no bounds, and those fortunate enough to know her felt it in the warmth of her presence, the kindness of her spirit, and the joy of her laughter. A family friend once described her perfectly as “a soul who radiated love, grace, and laughter wherever she went.”

Her greatest pride and life’s work were the loving relationships she built and nurtured throughout her life—especially with her family. She raised her sons with the same compassion, dignity, and generosity that defined her own life, and she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren beyond her final breath.

Marti carried herself with quiet elegance and natural grace. Her kindness was effortless, her love unconditional, and her presence was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She showed us, every day, how to live with warmth, humility, and an open heart.

Though we will miss her deeply, we carry forward the love she gave so freely. Her spirit will live on in the family she cherished and in the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

She brought us into this world with love, and surrounded by that same love, we were blessed to hold her hand and gently guide her home to God.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Marti’s honor to the American Cancer Society. If you wish to honor Marti, simply love others well — just as she did every day of her life.

A Celebration of Marti’s Life will take place this Spring. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
