Marshall Lynn Hankins, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Lea Hankins; cherished son of the late Marshall and Louise Hankins. Devoted father of Scott (Melissa Jones) Hankins, Phillip (Jesseca) Hankins, and Amy (Blake) Tilley; loving grandfather of Eileen (Brad) Kinschmidt, Daniel Cason, Brett (Baylie) Cason, Oliver Marshall Benjamin Hankins, Simon Hankins, Lou (Lyriel) Hankins, Quinn Marshall Tilley, Eli Tilley, and Calvin Tilley; treasured great-grandfather of Sage Kinschmidt, and Willow Kinschmidt; dear brother of Bob (the late Rosemary) Hankins, Phyllis (the late Walt) Davis.

Marshall shared 56 wonderful years with his wife, during which they cherished traveling and indulging in bridge games. His passion for art was evident through his participation in numerous art shows, where he showcased his expertise in painting and earned multiple accolades. Marshall's dedication extended to his role as an art teacher, teaching aspiring artists for many years, and as the pottery instructor at Camp Thunderbird in Bemidji, Minnesota. He found joy in gardening, fishing, and nurturing young minds, evident in his role as a cub scout leader for pack 55 and his active involvement in his children's upbringing. Above all, Marshall's greatest joy was the time spent with his beloved family. Marshall was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Marshall's name to Shriners or National Kidney Foundation.
