Marlene A. Singleton

Marlene A. Singleton (nee Blase), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Roy J. Singleton; cherished daughter of the late Louis and Hilda Blase; devoted mother of Sherry (Steven) Graf, Cynthia (Keith) Lawrence, and the late Kimberly Spangler (Surviving husband Dan); loving grandmother of Michael (Amie) Spangler, Kayla (Shawn) Schomburg, Christopher Graf, Amber Lawrence, and Cara Lawrence; treasured great grandmother of Grace, River, and Arya Schomburg; dear sister of the late Loann Boehmer; beloved aunt, cousin, and friend.

Marlene, a devout member of Chapel of the Cross, St. Peters, had a passion for animals, music, and jigsaw puzzles. Marlene was an avid Duke fan, but she loved all college basketball. Her outgoing nature meant she never met a stranger, embracing every interaction with warmth and openness. Marlene was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
