Marlene D. Blacklock

Marlene Della Blacklock (nee Backschies), of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 82. Cherished daughter of the late Frank Charles and Marie J. Backschies; Devoted mother of Robert F. (Mary Lou) Wolf and Timothy Wolf; loving grandmother of Mark Wolf. Preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Wolf and second husband, Charles Blacklock; son, Andrew Wolf; and brother, Jerry Backschies. 

Marlene took great pleasure in the outdoors, finding joy in activities like gardening, golfing, and boating. Her passion extended to the kitchen, where she delighted in cooking and tending to her family. A lover of animals, Marlene held a special affection for her beagles, embodying a warm smile and a compassionate heart. Nurturing, generous, and caring, she always welcomed a toast with a glass of wine. Marlene's presence was cherished, and her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. 

Memorials may be made in Marlene's name to Humane Society of Missouri or Masters or Backstoppers.
