Bruening, Mark C., of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Patricia Bruening; dear son of the late Henry and Agnes Bruening; devoted father of Chris M. (Donna) Bruening, Craig M. (Mary) Bruening, Carey J. (Cindy) Bruening, Carol S. (Larry) Cadwallader, and step-father of John V. (Patricia) Leitsch; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Scott) Crecelius, Tracy (Joshua) Burpo, Doug Bruening, Laura (Adam) Johnson, Christopher Allen (Lindsay) Bruening, Johnathan Bruening, Hillari (Joe) Bon, Todd Michael (Mary) Bruening, Brad Cadwallader, Kyle Cadwallader, Kristin Cadwallader, and great-grandfather of 11. He is preceded in death by his siblings Thomas Bruening, Florence Holtgrave, Marcella Bruening, and Paul Bruening. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
