Mark Bell

Mark Gerard Bell, of Hazelwood, MO, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Sherry Bell; sons, Matt (Stefanie) Bell and Justin Bell; granddaughter, Ruby Bell; brother, Richard (Cathy) Bell; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Margaret Bell, and sisters, Elaine Bell and Louise Flynn.

In his younger years, Mark was an avid soccer and softball player and remained active throughout his life. He was deeply connected to the lifelong friends he grew up with as well as his coworkers, never missing a reunion and always being the first to arrive and the last to leave. A passionate fan of classic rock, especially Journey and lead singer Steve Perry, Mark transformed an old pole barn into a rock ’n’ roll game room, complete with his prized pinball machines. He was a warm and generous host, known for his hospitality and making sure everyone was well-fed and comfortable. Mark had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and joke with his work friends, and found joy in simple pleasures like walking and spending time with his dogs. Mark was a kind, happy soul who was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Mark 's name to Make-A-Wish or Toys for Tots. A celebration of life for Mark will be announced at a later date.
