Marilyn Joan Armstrong (nee Louis), of Union, MO, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Earl Armstrong; devoted mother of Larry Pittman, and the late Pamela McRoy; loving grandmother of Sara (Hadley) Holt; precious great grandmother of Aurora Holt and Hadley Holt; and dear sister of Shirley, Bob and Betty.

Marilyn was a multifaceted individual with a profound delight for painting, music, and an affection for her diverse array of animals, including birds and dogs. Her heart was attuned to the tranquil embrace of the countryside and the beauty of nature, where her boundless creativity and self-reliance thrived. She relished a wholesome existence, finding joy in cooking, nurturing her garden and plants, and cherishing her family. Her endearing presence touched the lives of many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
