Simms, dear sister of Samuel Crawford, Jessie Crawford, Winston M. Simms, Jr., Clifton R. (Paula) Simms and Edward ''Charles'' (Janie) Simms; beloved grandmother of Radiance D. Harvey, Adrian D. Simms and Daniel A. Simms; she was our dear aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many; preceded in death by her parents Winston M. and Ruby Jewell Simms and her sister Hazel Lee Langston. Marilla was a long time member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Wentzville for over 40 years. Marilla was a loving God-Mother to a host of God-Children and a compassionate surrogate mother to many and will be deeply missed by all.
