Mariette Kay Holtz-Mesey

Mariette Kay Mesey of St. Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the age of 58. She was the sweet and beautiful ray of light to her loving husband, Michael Mesey. Cherished daughter of Marilyn Ann Holtz and the late Stanley Alex Holtz. Devoted mother to Morgan Vegas Williams (Thomas Bruce Williams), and forever loving grandmother to Rowan Loch and Llewyn Kay Williams. Dear sister to Gary and Kenneth Holtz. Beloved daughter-in-law to Vito and Betty Comporato; cherished sister in law to Cindy Lindsey and the late brother in law Jerry Craft and the late sister in law Lorie Powell; loving stepmother to Michelle Schuler (Gary Schuler), and grandmother to Devin Welch, Cole and Samantha Schuler. Treasured fur babies Ocho and Seven.

Mariette's kindness and smile always brightened everyone's day. She was loved by all her friends and family, making everyone she met feel special. Mariette was an avid reader of novels and the Bible, and journaled every day, whether she was traveling or relaxing at home. Mariette loved music and traveling with her husband, Michael. She enjoyed the ocean in Nassau and seeing all the sites in different cities, with New York and London being her favorites. Flying to Salt Lake City to see her first grandchild, Rowan, always lit her heart. Mariette loved being around babies and children and enjoyed interacting with all the students during her work at Francis Howell School District. Shopping was her passion, especially for shoes and purses. Anyone who knew Mariette well was always curious to see what new purse she had. She was the most kindhearted person anyone could ever meet. Mariette was one of a kind.
