A graveside funeral for Marie A. Stewart (nee Fuerst) 96, will be at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles. No visitation is scheduled. Marie was born to Leo and Leola Fuerst on October 6, 1926 in Wellston, Missouri.
Marie died Friday, July 21, 2023 peacefully at home.
She is survived by her children Patricia Maschek, Karen Eickmeyer, Judith Hammond (Craig), Barbara Evans (Bob), Sandra Brennan (Bob), Joseph Stewart (Alice), 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kent Stewart Jr., sons Thomas and Andrew.
