Margaret Ann Paget

Margaret A. Paget, (nee Richardson), of Ballwin, Missouri, passed from this life on September 18, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born on December 28, 1941 in Chertsey, Surrey, England to Charles Thomas and Hilda Richardson.  

Margaret married George Edward Paget on September 17, 1984, in the London Borough of Camden, England before moving to the United States a few years after their marriage.  Margaret and Edward were proud to be dual citizens of Great Britain and the United States of America.  

Margaret was a beloved aunt, cousin, stepmother and friend to many. She was kind and gentle. She had a warm smile and a caring soul. She had a special place in her heart for animals and loved being a “pet mom” to many dogs and cats throughout her lifetime.  In addition to her extended family and friends, she also left behind her dog, Bizet, and cat, Haydn.  They were her constant companions until illness forced her to adopt them into other loving homes. 

As a long-time member of Four Winds Garden Club in St. Louis, Margaret found joy in her flower garden. She also loved reading a good book cover to cover, listening to her favorite songs and using her creative mind while cross stitching. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking and keeping in touch with family and friends around the world. She was a wonderful pen pal and enjoyed chats on the phone with those relatives. Margaret will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
