Margaret Mary Meyer

November 8, 1932 — November 15, 2023

St. Charles, Missouri

Margaret Mary Meyer (nee Zerr), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Vernon James Meyer; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Clara Zerr; devoted mother of Mike (Shelley) Meyer, Ken (Susan) Meyer, Nancy (Cliff) VanDover, and Mary (Norbert) Rohe; loving grandmother of Blakeley (Elizabeth) Meyer, Rachel (Robert) O'Connor, Madison (James) Schniers, Nathan Rohe, Shelby Rohe, Alex VanDover, John Meyer, and Amanda Meyer; great-grandmother of Enzo Schniers, Lyla Corbett, Colton Corbett, Giovanni Schniers, Declan O'Connor, Nico Schniers, and Isla O'Connor; dear sister of Bernard (Diana) Zerr, and Paul (Mary Ann) Zerr; beloved sister-in-law, cousin, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters, Sr. Lucille Zerr SSND, and Rita Zerr, and three brothers, Ralph (Joyce) Zerr, Robert (surviving special friend Sarah) Zerr, and Ronald (surviving Sheila) Zerr.

Margaret was a lifelong member of St Peter Catholic Church St Charles, MO., and a member of the Ladies Sodality at St Peter's Catholic Church. She was the best prayer warrior, as she had the strongest faith. Margaret was the most comforting and loving woman. You knew you were loved just by walking into a room with her in it. She would light up any time she saw a baby or child and she was so patient and kind towards everyone. Margaret would drop everything for anyone in need because she had the biggest heart. She was the proudest Grandma and Great Grandma., the kind of Grandma who always had vanilla ice cream in a cone. She loved like Jesus. Everyone she met she loved wholeheartedly. Margaret loved company and being in a room full of people. She was the best hugger and gave the best cuddles, especially when rocking and singing to babies. Margaret was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Margaret’s name to Birthright, Duchesne High School, or St. Peter Catholic Church.
