Margaret "Peggy" A. Lowry

Margaret “Peggy” A. Lowry, of Ballwin, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Cherished daughter of the late Mertis and Gregory F. Lowry; dear sister of John (Andi) Lowry, Michael (Kathy) (The late Jeanette) Lowry, Mertis (late Michael) LaVelle, Mark (Leanne) Lowry, Matt (Cathy) Lowry, the late Connie (Michael survives) Morgan, and the late Jim (Janice survives) Lowry; loving aunt of 16, great aunt of 22, and great-great aunt of 1.

Peggy, strong in her faith, was saved in New Covenant Church in Chesterfield and was a devout member of Grace Christian Church, and Family Church in Chesterfield. Throughout her life, she went on several mission trips around the world with her church as well. Peggy was a Kindergarten teacher and loved being with children, especially her nieces and nephews. She got her bachelor’s degree in education at Central Missouri State and her master’s in early childhood education at Mizzou. Known for her reserved personality, Peggy was also very loving, often sending cards and writing in every blank space available. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Peggy's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
