Marcia Ann Sturm

Marcia Ann Sturm (nee Morgenthaler), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Charles “Frank” Sturm; cherished daughter of the late Robert Carl and Elizabeth Morgenthaler. Devoted mother of Steven (Kathy) Sturm and the late Richard Sturm; loving grandmother of Kara (Joshua) Schaller, Krista (Justin) VanRiper, Mark Sturm, and Benjamin Sturm; treasured great-grandmother of Daniel Schaller, Adam Schaller, and Baby Girl VanRiper due in November; dear sister of Larry (Kay) Morgenthaler and Stephen (Pam) Morgenthaler, host to many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Marcia shared a remarkable 64-year marriage with Frank, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. While raising her children, Marcia dedicated herself to teaching piano lessons, instilling a passion for music in many young minds. Her affection for animals was profound, especially for her beloved miniature dachshunds, who brought her immense joy and companionship. Marcia's interests were diverse and vibrant; she found great pleasure in golfing bowling, and playing bridge, relishing the camaraderie and competition they offered. Additionally, she had a particular fondness for shopping, delighting in discovering new treasures and indulging in the latest fashions. Her life was rich with activities and passions that she pursued with enthusiasm and dedication. Marcia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Marcia's name to ASPCA.
