Marcia L. Smith

Marcia Lynn Smith (nee Broeckling) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Thomas H. Smith, Jr. They shared 64 years together. She was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Marcella Broeckling. Loving sister of Harry (Bud) Broeckling (Sharon), Beverly Johnston, and Kim Lewis (Keith). Devoted mother of Bo Smith (Kelly Koch), Toni Lane (George), and Snow Smith (Boomer Addison). Second mom to Sherri Blackford. Cherished Nana of Shaye Smith, Brenden Schaeffer (Emily), Devyn Schaeffer, Brianna Schaeffer, and Jacob Lane. Great Nana of Lucas Schaeffer and Gabriel Schaeffer. In addition, she is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and BFF Best Friend Debbie Broeckling,

Marcia had a passion for her farm, stock car racing, gardening, reading, animals (especially her loyal dog Punkin), watching sports on TV with Tom, listening to music (especially Stevie Nicks). She loved Elvis, spaghetti, flowers, Gone With the Wind, and anything related to the Titanic. She loved to bowl and play softball, even playing softball until the age of 69!

Marcia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on June 27 from 9:00am to 10:00am with services at 10:00am at Baue Cave Springs. 3950 W.Clay St. Charles, MO.
