Magdalene "Dixie" Arnold Hess

Magdalene “Dixie” Arnold Hess (nee Wilson), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late William Arnold and Kenneth Hess; cherished daughter of the late William and Lucinda Wilson; devoted mother of the late David (Bonnie) Arnold, Barbara (Robert) McFarland, Alice Masters-Anderson, Steven (Nicole) Arnold, Cinda Arnold, Diane (Ronnie) Wrozier, James (Sharon) Arnold, and; loving grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Dixie, a member of the Eastern Star, devoted her life to her family, who were always at the center of her world. She was the steady presence and the glue that held everyone together through the years, offering love, guidance, and unwavering support. Dixie took great pride in her role as a mother, often saying, “my greatest accomplishments call me Mom.” She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Dixie’s name to the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
