Lynnette “Lynn” Collier

Collier, Lynnette “Lynn,” (nee: Newman), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the age of 68. Loving wife of William “Bill” Collier; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Helene Newman; devoted mother of Shannon (Shawn) Grieshaber and Bobbye (Brian) Elder; loving grandmother of Alex, Jacob, Will, and Charlie; dear sister of James “Rusty” (Gayle) Newman and Cindy Lee; treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews; loving cousin and friend to many.

Lynn was quite the history buff. She was especially knowledgeable about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington and was a member of the many historical groups. Lynn enjoyed traveling, studying genealogy, and the band Celtic Thunder. Lynn was very family oriented. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lynn was a very colorful person and for this reason the family requests you wear something bright.
