Lucina "Inang Lucing" Rigor Ramos, 90, seamstress and family babysitter. Passed away June 4, 2026, at Progress West Hospital in St Charles, MO.
Lucina was born on May 30, 1936, in Calibungan, Victoria, Tarlac, Philippines. Following her marriage, she made her home in Balingog, Victoria, Tarlac, where she lovingly raised her family. In 1982, Lucina relocated to Oahu, Hawaii, and resided primarily in the Salt Lake area. A talented seamstress and devoted family babysitter, Lucina dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She furthered her skills by completing the Garment Industry Training Program in Single Needle Power Sewing at Honolulu Community College, receiving her certificate in December 1984. Affectionately known as "Inang Lucing," she was cherished for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals, shopping, traveling, attending family gatherings, and spending time watching her favorite game shows. Lucina was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lucina Rigor Ramos now joins her late husband Teofilo Villa Ramos.
They are survived by seven children: Juan (Zenaida) Ramos, Geronimo (Quirry-Lyn) Ramos, Emilio Ramos, Joe (Rose Marie) Ramos, Loida Ramos, Melane (Danny) Fontanilla, and Teresita Ramos; eighteen grandchildren: John-Devin Ramos, Joel-Jay (Taylor) Talaro, Thrisha (Edgar) Zurita, Leon-Justin (Tiffany) Talaro, Khristie Ramos, Darren Fontanilla, Jareza Eva Ramos, Lei-Helani Talaro, Deijia Fontanilla, Jeremy Jesus Ramos, Dyllen Fontanilla, Lorenzo King, Mhaxine (Joseph) Torres, Jamerra Ramos, Rhea Ramos, Deszel Daniella Fontanilla, Tomas Foreman, and Jasmin White; and nine great-grandchildren: Tommy Yu, Jacob Yu, and Jaslene Yu, Elaina Zurita, Elsy Zurita, Elora Zurita, Enzo Zurita, Milena Leigh Fontanilla, and Micah Torres.
Memorials may be made in Lucina's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
