Louise "Weezie" Ann Nichols of St. Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 66 on Friday, June 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Lou Froeschner.
Louise is survived by her children, Kelsey (Phillip) Christophel and Joshua Nichols; her grandchildren, Shayna, Chandra, Joseph, Caleb, and Chloe; her mother, Jacqueline Froeschner; her siblings, Linda (Don) Buretta, Debbie (Dan) Roberts, and Richard Froeschner; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Louise loved everything to do with crafts and spent much of her time spinning, weaving, knitting, and crocheting. She made and sold scarves, attended craft shows, and enjoyed making baby blankets as well. For fun, Louise also liked to pass the time reading a great book. Animals held a special place in Louise’s heart, especially her Yorkie, Tess, who she would take to her job at the City Museum every day with her. Louise was a people person and her always smiling, positive attitude was greatly admired. Giving solid advice was Louise’s specialty and she was never at a loss to have the right words to say. Above everything, family was the most important thing for Louise and she greatly treasured the memories they all made together over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Louise’s name may be made to the
Bi-State Wildlife Hotline.
