She was employed by St. Mary's Institute in O'Fallon, Mo. for 25+ years as a dietician and was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon. Mrs. Poepsel is survived by her husband, Herman H. Poepsel. They were married October 18, 1950 in Washington, Mo. Dear mother of Marcia Hartgrove (Billy), Thomas J. Poepsel (Terri), Jo Ellen Wieczorek (Mark) and the late Gary Poepsel; dear sister of Sister Maria Neier, Bernice Dieckhaus, Jim Neier, Virginia Painter, Rita Ann Kuchem, Rosemary Wessel, Clarence 'Bud' Neier and the late Leola Engemann; dear grandmother of 6 and greatgrandmother of 3 .
