Louis Charles Bewig

Louis “Lou” Charles Bewig, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Judith "Judy" Ann Bewig; cherished son of the late Grant Louis and Loretta Frances Bewig; devoted father of Matthew "Matt" Bewig and Scott Bewig; loving grandfather of Maddie Bewig; dear brother of two brothers and four sisters; treasured uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Lou proudly and honorably served in the United Stated Army. He was also an Eagle Scout during his younger years. Lou was a car guy through and through. He enjoyed cars, specifically Mustangs, and liked to restore them, while always working on the cars of his friends and family. He would always help people with car problems and frequented car shows and often won trophies. His love for cars started from working on them with his father. Lou also enjoyed camping and float trips on the Meramec. He also loved road trips and being out on the road. Lou was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Louis's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
