Lorraine Agnes Lind

Lorraine Lind (nee Kennedy) of St. Charles, MO, passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orville, her parents Calvin and Eleanor Kennedy, brother and sisters Earl Kennedy, Sister Inez Kennedy, F.S.M., Eileen Pohlman, and Ruth Clark. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Fischbach, daughter Janet and son-in-law Michael Friend, grandsons Christopher Friend and Patrick (Shilo) Friend, great grandson, Leif Friend, and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lorraine was a faithful member of St. Cletus Catholic Church where she volunteered in many capacities. She worked for several years at Benton Elementary School as a Kindergarten teacher’s aide and later as the health assistant. Lorraine enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, birthday parties, crossword puzzles, and her beautiful flowers and yard. 

Lorraine devoted her life to helping others and never met a stranger. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 2705 Zumbehl Road, St. Charles MO 63301 on Monday, December 30th from 11-1pm. Funeral Mass will immediately follow at St. Cletus. Burial will take place at St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Luncheon will be served at St. Cletus after burial.
