Lorraine C. Wallis
June 6, 1931 — February 4, 2022
Lorraine C. Wallis (nee Wente), of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved daughter of the late Otis and Constance Wente; wife of the late Karl Wallis; devoted mother of Kathleen (Stephen) Thompson and the late Dawn Kureshy; cherished grandmother of Allison (Ryan) Yager, Robert (Danielle) Thompson, Caroline Thompson, Shan Kureshy and Nick Kureshy; dear sister of Nancy Carroll.
Lorraine worked for the federal government for DCASR for many years, and then after her retirement sold real estate in the St. Charles area.
Lorraine was a member of Waypoint Church (First Baptist Church of Harvester), where she was active in the senior ministries.
Lorraine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for being the crazy red-head, her love and generosity, a great friend to all, her devotion to her children and grandchildren, and most of all her faith in Jesus Christ.
A gathering in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 5th at Noon at the home of her daughter, 1719 Baxter Forest Valley Ct., Chesterfield, Missouri,
Memorials may be made in Lorraine 's name to Westminster Christian Academy.
