Slater, Lola (nee: Childers), of Bridgeton, MO, died on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the age of 88. Loving wife of 64 years of Paul Slater; beloved daughter of Ernest and Edna Childers; der sister of Victor Childers; cherished aunt of Jean Childers-Arnold, Katherine Martin, Tom Slater, Jane Case, Cathy Case, Kenneth Slater, Carl Giauque, Stanley Giauque, Arthur "Chip" Slater, and Brian Slater; and also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Lola was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church. She was employed as the Librarian for Berkeley Junior High School for many years.
Memorials may be made to Sand Hill Cemetery.
